John and his team completed a panel swap for me. Originally the plan was to install a 200 amp service with Epcor. Even with the insane lack of communication from the Epcor team, John made sure I was informed at every step of the process. I really appreciate his honesty and dedication to me as the client throughout the complicated process with Epcor. Eventually we had to pivot on the scope of work to no fault of John or his team. i was super impressed with the whole Alpha team that came out for the install. John with Alpha Electrical Services was Awesome!!!We arranged a time that worked for both of us and John was excellent at communicating the time and reconfirming before the meeting. He showed up at the time when we were scheduled to meet.John was personable and very knowledgeable. He had Milo (an apprentice electrician) with him to help take care of the work around my place.While he was in my place he was communicating what he was doing and what was going on. I was curious so it was nice to be kept in the loop.They wrapped up in the time slot I had provided, even though they encountered a few little hick-ups along the way. They sorted out my issues and cleaned up after they were finishedTotally recommend!

Jonn and his team installed pot lights in our house. Because our house was built in 1997 they had to fish the wires through the joists and around them. I was expecting big ceiling repairs but all they did was only one small hole in the ceiling. Also the price was very competitive compare to other companies and there was no mess on the floor or any where else. They covered all furniture before they started working and they were sweeping the floor as they were cutting out holes for the pot lights. I will certainly recommend John and his team to my family and friends. Good job, we are very happy!

I had an electrician come to my house to fix an electrical issue and they were very unprofessional, very abrasive, dismissive and rude. Every time I asked a question John’s responses were very condescending. They lack credibility professionalism, and I would never hire them. I recommend there are many electricians in Edmonton competition is high and your approach. The customer service needs to be exemplary. In this case it was very poor.

Communication was easy and service was great. They arrived on site to assess the situation as discussed. From there, had plan A and B depending on fixture options. They were able to get the fixtures needed to be able to return and complete the project with a very quick turn around. All while maintaining communication. Task was completed and site was left clean. This review is years passed due. Alpha Electrical has been my family's go to for all electrical since 2014. There is NOTHING John and his team can't do, as proven by the work done in our previous home (built in 1963) - from wiring up a smart thermostat in the finished upstairs when the Telus security tech said it couldn't be done - to running all new wire, installing outlets and light fixtures in our unfinished basement. I wouldn't hire or trust anyone other than Alpha Electrical to do work on my home. My family has been using John for years, and his work is always top notch. After purchasing my own home, I was leary on hire out certain work after having some not-so-great contractors. But John/Alpha is my go-to call now. Not only do I trust the quality of the work, but I don't have to worry about upselling or being sold B.S. John is honest, straight forward, knowledgeable, and places a lot of value on interpersonal relationships rather than making a quick buck. He is really great with responding quickly to calls/fitting the work into his schedule. We needed an electrician while renovating our basement. We reached out to Alpha Electrical to run two new circuits for the lighting and outlets. While they were on site they identified a couple of unsafe boxes where previous owners had tied in to circuits incorrectly and caused the wires to melt, charring the box. They ended up running three circuits for us to make everything safe. When the inspector came he even commented on the attention to small details that are commonly missed, like protection plates on every stud vertical and horizontal and insulation between the heat duct and wire where they crossed. Neat and clean work at the panel as well. Very happy with their work, will call them again and have recommended them to family and friends.
